White Chocolate Marshmallows- Cute Halloween Treat

Are you looking for an adorable (and delicious) Halloween treat??? Well, here you go....

My daughter had treat week for her dance studio & I was at a complete loss of what to bring. So, here it goes and it worked! I googled and googled recipes and found about 3 variations or this recipe. I combined the ones I liked & it worked. These delicious marshmallows are dipped in chocolate to look like candy corn. So festive and they were a HUGE hit!!!

Here's the details and believe me if I can do it, you can too...

Marshmallows- I used the regular size ones, but today at the grocery store I saw the large campfire marshmallows that would be cute too.

Wilton's Chocolate. I purchased the white chocolate candy wafers, available at JoAnnes, Michaels or Hobby Lobby. I then used food coloring to color them orange & yellow.

I melted the chocolate in the microwave, following directions on the bag. I then colored the chocolate orange.

Put marshmallow on the lollipop stick and dipped in the orange chocolate. I dipped them about 2/3 of the way, leaving a little of the white at the base. I lined a cookie sheet with wax paper and let dry on there.

*Let the orange completely dry- I even stuck the cookie sheet in the freezer to speed up the process... yes, I was making these the night before and it was getting late- this Mom was getting tired!

I then did the same process, but colored the chocolate yellow. dipped the bottom 1/3 in the yellow chocolate. Let dry and wrapped them in a clear bag, ready for my little lady to bring to dance.

They are so fun and I can only think of the variations I can now make of these fabulous treats... Christmas, Birthdays, Valentine's Day & Such...

My girls loved them too! Let me tell you that they were shocked that I did make these. They had a lot of doubt but wow was Miss Peyton proud to share these at dance.

Enjoy! XOXO
